I am proud and honored to announce today that I will be running for re-election in 2012 for our San Joaquin County and Contra Costa County district.

I have represented nearly all of San Joaquin County and East Contra Costa County for almost 5 years. The community spirit in our area has been a real inspiration and I feel at home here.

I am the incumbent Congressman for this area, and I have close ties with local families, businesses, and community leaders. I’m looking forward to working to better all our futures in California and our country.
